Rules
Target balls are marked by Roman and Arabic numbers from 1 to 6. Every player plays with 2 balls.
Every team consists of 1 to 8 players.
Professionals play up to 64 points and amateurs play up to 25 points. You can change these rules on the go.
Teams change sides once 12 points are reached.
Flip a coin to see which team starts first.
There must be a two-point difference at the end of the game.
This game can be played on 4 different sized turf fields. Each field is marked with red and yellow lines.
How to Play
Whichever player starts the game first, the second player will have the last turn.
Recommend to add netting on the outer boundaries of turf.
If the target ball lands in the yellow box, you receive points that double the number on the target ball. The ball goes back to the center.
If the target ball goes out of bound or over the red line, the number on the target ball gets deducted from your score and you lose a turn. Target ball returns back to the center.
If the ball goes outside of the yellow box, no points are received and you do not get a turn. The ball is out.
Each player receives 2 balls to play the game.
Each player receives two throws per turn. After two turns, the next player proceeds.
All turns must be thrown from the end of the field.
If you have a tie game, continue to play until one player scores the highest points.
Target ball can be hit with any type of balls (soccer balls, volley balls, footballs, hand balls). If you participate in the target ball pro game, players are recommended to wear uniforms that consist of t-shirts with numbers, leisure pants, shorts, sneakers with rubber soles. The numbers on t-shirts are recommended for qualification, disqualification, and trophies.
The referee will keep score with an assistant who will tally up the scores on a scoreboard sheet.
Target ball pro game must have 8 players on each team.
The referee must wear a uniform and use a whistle for the game.
Target ball pro must be played on turf marked with lines.
When playing on the field, you gain points that are shown on the actual target ball.
If the target ball goes outside the red lines, points shown on the target ball will be deducted and one turn will be lost.
If the target ball goes in the yellow zone, you win the points shown on the target ball and the ball then goes back to the center. Target ball is recommended for everyone to play the game and to follow all the rules and regulations.
Target ball can be rented by the hour or per the day. The player that scores the most points at the end of the hour wins.
Each game should reach a minimum of 64 points.
Target ball can also be rented per week and/or weekend. Each club or organization participating will determine pricing per rental. This game is not recommended for gambling purposes.
Winning team shares trophy or money.
To play this game you must purchase tickets or chips from participating clubs.
